| Hi,
I am working on a model that has many faces and just discovered that all of the faces have become double stacked. There appears no way to change the situation except to delete all of the extra faces one at a time. Using the delete stacked vertices does not work...
desperate... |

| It is easier to use the Table view of Faces for this. You can then select a number of rows in the table using the common windows shortcut keys with the mouse to Ctrl-Select and/or Shift-Select. Then delete them by pressing the Delete key.
Or you can use "Check Holes" under the "Tools" menu, and select the "Delete Stacked Faces" checkbox. |

| Hi Bruce,
Does this leave double stacked vertices??
If t does they would probably be harmless but it might nonetheless be worth going to "Tools" "delete stacked vertices" as a next step.
May I also suggest it can be worthwhile when constructing a complex model to save it under different names as construction progresses. That way there is always a fall back point.
Do I do this ... sometimes ... sigh!
Best

| Not sure if this has anything to do with the double face issue I had, but I am having problems with the X vertices @ 0 being assigned as holes, not sure why? The room is symetric.
Good day,

| Try clicking on a vertice and displacing it.
I have seen stacked vertices show up this way.
There could also be something odd going on where there were stacked faces so the faces with the 0 x dimension vertices might have to be re-built, vertices and all.
Hope this helps.
