| Hello!
I have a Dell Latitude D820 XP SP2 with 1GB RAM
i have many times had problems with the clipborad function. I can click on the icon Clipboard and get the error message "Run time Error 521 Can't open clipboard" and efter clicking on the message EASERA shuts down and i have to restart EASERA. The problems accour round 40-50% of the times i click on the icon.
Is this phenomena familiar?

| Hello Robert,
we have not heard of this problem until now. Do you see any systematics? The clipboard can be used by other Windows applications as well. Can it be that it is temporarily blocked by some program in the background?

the systematics i've seen is this: Print screen and alt-print screen works.
If i start EASERA and open up 1 saved measurement (full IR) and use click on clipboard in EASERA, it can copy and paste to the open office writer program. (i don't have word in that computer)
If I then choose to see STI and use copy to clipboard function again, i get the error message and EASERA shuts down.
It could be open office program that creates this, EASE 4.2 on the same computer has the same systematics and error code.
If i use EASE on another computer with word on, it works fine. |

| This sounds like a systematic problem indeed. Unfortunately we have not been able to reproduce it. We installed Open Office without any problems in EASE/EASERA.
Maybe you can send further details privately. We would appreciate it.
