| Someone in our office got the referenced error message when they placed loudspeakers in an EASE model. This error is seemingly due to the fact that the speakers were placed on the x-axis (i.e. the x coordinate for the loudspeaker placement was 0) and the room was set to "room symmetric." When I turned off "room symmetric" it no longer displayed the error. Although the problem seems to be solved, I would like some more insight into why this happened, and would like to know if you must uncheck "room symmetric" when placing loudspeakers on the x-axis.
Thanks in advance.

| Dylan,
This error is displayed in symmetric rooms under the following conditions:
- Loudspeaker located on X axis (x=0).
- LS Rotation Angle not 0 or 180 for horizontally symmetric data.
- LS Horizontal Angle not 0.
That is because you now have a loudspeaker that has data that is no longer symmetrical about the X axis. As you have found, if you need to use the angles other than shown above, then you will need to turn off room symmetry.
