| Just recently, During a modeling session. I have come accross a strange thing happening to my speaker models. If I click 'All to Max' on the speaker power selection, It does not select the max power available from the speaker model. I fI use the +1 button, all numbers turn to red and then Check Data says speakers are over powered. This even happens to the Sphere.. Crazy..
I have never had this happen before... This doesn't happen on other model files, only the current one I am working on.
I deleted all my speakers in the model and started over but nothing will power correctly now.
Help...
Thanks,
Brandon |

| Brandon,
I've also had this 'problem' with v4.3
What I've found is that the loudspeaker manufacturer's data has had some errors.
For example for a max input power of 1000W, the max SPL was approx 30dB with sensitivity values of between 0 and 4dB!
Have a look at the .spk file of the loudspeaker you are using - you might find some values are too low.
In my situation, I e-mailed the loudspeaker manufacturer who prompty amended and reissued their data.
Hope this helps
Regards |

| Tim, Brandon,
Have you tried opening the Room Data -Settings? EASE v4.3 has a default selection of broadband pink noise calculation, which I found out if this is the cause of this over power problem. Try to switch it to multi tone calculation.
