| I am working on a project where I received a sound power level from an acoustician. I am using this to determine ambient levels throughout the space. The spectral power level I got is at an HVAC louver. I want to create a hemisphere speaker on the wall with the spectral characteristics of the HVAC system. I don't have specific directional data but we are currently assuming that the sound dispersion is fairly uniform across 180 degrees.
In wall materials there are various theoretical absorbers in the "standard" folder but I can't locate something similar for loudspeakers. I imagine I can figure out how to create one in Speak Base but was hoping someone could point me to an existing file.
Thanks. |

| Hi Lindsay,
I would think you should be able to place a Sphere loudspeaker right on the wall at the location of the HVAC louver. To get the desired spectral shape & output level alter the 1/3 octave power input into the Sphere loudspeaker. |
