| Hello,
I have doubts about the level definition in the settings tag of the Room Data Window, Edit Project. Itīs a default level definition for EASE 4.3 version, but i donīt know what means exactly... |

| Sorry but iīm a bit lost. When itīs used a sphere model, the maximum output power level is 100 w, according to the level convention. But, what happens when this value is above because the most of the frequency bands are bigger than 100 dB? Why the introduction of this level definition? |

| Dear user,
The new level definition "Broadband Pink Noise Signal" has been implemented in EASE 4.3 in order to better relate SPL simulations (made by EASE) with measurements in the field, made with SPL meters.
Note that "Multi-Tone Signal" level definition is the convention used in previous versions of EASE, an older convention. That said, unless you are really sure you would like to use this one, we suggest that you please select "Broadband Pink Noise Signal". This is the default option of current versions of EASE.
When you use a Sphere loudspeaker it's maximum output power of 100 Watts (as defined in the acoustic properties of that loudspeaker) is "distributed" over the 21 1/3 octave frequency bands.
You can for example see that in the Sphere loudspeaker properties "each frequency" has an electrical power of 4.762 W. If you sum all 21 third octave bands, you will have 100W, which is the maximum capability of that loudspeaker.
