| Just revisiting this topic.
I am having no success getting the Easera (PreSonus) Gateway working with Windows 7.
The standard drivers that come with the software loads OK but only ever get a red light on front of the PreSonus which equals no communication.
I also tried the Win 7 recommended drivers off the PreSonus website and still only see a Red light.
Have RH given up supporting this stuff?

| I have used my firebox with easera acouple weeks without any issue on bootcamp running Widows 7.
The only reason I know that it worked was the fact that systune did not!!!! I am have a world of trouble with systune and win7/bootcamp.
It works for about 2 mins then lock ups. After rebooting systune does not see the any input or play any output thu the firebox. Firebox has it's blue light on but does not pass audio!
I know it's probably not a AFMG issue and that if a brought a new network interface and didn't try and run on bootcamp my issue would go a way.
The issue I have is that for my live systems work my mac book is great. I might give up on bootcamp/pc world for a while and buy a something that will run on mac for live system work.
Is anyone running bootcamp & Win7 with the firebox/gateway (easera or systune) |

I just checked my system and EASERA is working great with my firebox. I am running the driver that I downloaded from Presonus and its working great. I don't know how different Firebox is to Gateway but the firebox driver are working in win7 pro.
How are you getting firewire into you PC?
Can you get iTunes or widows media play out though the device?
I just spent a couple of hours in win7 control panel and it looks like I have Systune playing nice with bootcamp/win7.
It might be something that you need to spend the time in the control panel to get right.
Please let me know how you go. |
