| Auto delay independent per channel? |

| Hi all,
Can I make auto delay finder button independent per channel?
Application:
Sub and FR alignment with 4 microphones at different distance/location. First, I turn on channel 1 (mic 1) and click auto. After systune gets the delay value, I turn off the delay finder on channel one and go to mic 2 position and do the same thing (turn on the delay finder, wait until it finds the delay value, and move on). When I go back to the channel one, the delay value is gone.
It seems the auto delay finder function overrides all channels.
Is the a possibility to make auto delay finder button independent per channel? Because I need to input four different delay value for channel 1-4. What I do is copy-paste/write what Systune gets per channel using auto, switch the auto off, and input each channel one by one. The problem is that moving to other speaker, I need to redo this and involves another program (such as a note pad).
If there is a way to make auto delay finder independent per channel, please advise. I may miss this information from manual/setting. Please advise.

Auto is used for microphones or loudspeakers that are moving. Select each channel, then press Peak to set the delay to the peak of the impulse response.
But for sub alignment you should be using delay analysis. The easiest way I have found is to do the following:
Turn on the FR (SUB off)
Press Ctrl-Alt-F5 to start capturing all channels
Press Esc when it starts capturing Ch 5.
Turn off FR, turn on SUB
Press Ctrl-Alt-F5 to start capturing all channels
Press Esc when it starts capturing Ch 5.
Now you have corresponding pairs of measurements to select in Delay Analysis. |
