| Hi..
Is there any way to bring in external objects like drumkits, or a piano or Mics and mic stands, different kinds of speakers into the EASE database to include them in the models that we construct?
If not, what would be the workaround to bring them in? If using other programs is the only way, what shall happen to the acoustic properties of those objects? |

| For drumkits or piano, if they are in DXF or SKP files, then import them just the same as other model parts. Mics and mic stands would normally be irrelevant acoustic objects. You would need complete measurement data for speakers not in the database and could then be created as GLLs using SpeakerLab. |

| Kaush, Vorlander says some nice words aboust Acoustical Models and what can be considered or not in his book: Auralization: Fundamentals of Acoustics, Modeling, Simulation... You might want to give a check at it. There are considerable differences between Architectural and Acoustical models. |
