| Hi all,
I do have a question of background noise. When I use the generic file B60 from Ease file, I assume that the average level is 60dB(a).
But when I do the calculation myself, the result is 71.11383 dB(a), with standard weighting.
What do I have to use to simulate a generic background noise of 60dB(a)?
Thanks and regards,
Guillaume |

| Guillaume,
Not sure what you mean by "the generic file B60". With EASE, there are 3 files provided called A-35, B-70, and C-105. These correspond to 35 dB A-wtd, 75 dB B-wtd, and 105 dB C-wtd respectively. So to create a 60 dB A-wtd noise level, you would load the A-35 file, then adjust the level up by 25 dB to get to the level desired. |
