| Hi again,
I am receiving the following message in the Area Mapping Module:
"Number of Rays cut off by order greater than 50%
Please increase order for realistic results"
I tried to increase the order option from 20 to 200, 2000 and 5000(only for test!) and the error message appear again and again!
And after of this message I am receiving the following message in the Room Editor when I tried to do a RT review(I had done this before the error without any trouble):
"Error in Surface Calculation"
What can I do in order to solve this erros?
What can to be the problem?
Thanks anticipated

| Sorry Opacheco, I haven't come across this one.
Hopefully someone will give you an answer shortly.
I'm assuming you're using the Ray Tracing module?
Have you increased the order and provided a sensible time - relative to your room?
FWIW, for a typical model I usually start with around 10,000 Rays/Loudspeaker, Order of 3 and a Time relative to the RT or physical size of the room. |

| Tim,
Thanks a lot for your time and response!...I am in the "Area Mapping" module and I am trying to run a "Local Decay Time" and the message is appering when I tried to run that test!! and the error appear again and again:
"Number of Rays cut off by order greater than 50%. Please increase order for realistic results".
I tried with 20, 200, 2000, 5000 and I have the same message.
BUT the another error is in the "Editor Module" when I tried to do a RT review(I had done this before the error without any trouble):
"Error in Surface Calculation"
I will be pending for any comment!

| Normally increasing the reflection order should help.
May you can send your EASE project to support@afmg.eu for checking.

Frank, thanks for your response and advise!....
I fixed that problem now; I had some stacked Vertices but I have a new trouble a rare very high value Local Decay Time in the graph and I don't know what it could be??...The color Legend have very high values but I can't see them in the room!!
Thanks a lot again.

| Hello opacheco,
Could you please send a description of the problem along with some screenshots and maybe the project in question so that I can verify the issue reported just above?
I believe you´ve got my mail address?
Regards,
