| I imported a large dxf file for a project. When checking data (F5) the error generated is "Same Vertices inserted". There are well over a thousand faces in this room, with many more that need to be added as Ease did not add the most important ones (walls...) Hand editing is not an acceptable solution as Ease generated these Vertices and Faces. What is the answer to this? I spot checked the faces throughout the range and it appears that all of the faces contain this error. Ease version 4.2.3.36. |

| We could spend lots of time guessing on this, but the best thing is to please send me the .dxf file to look at.
I will note that it sounds like you need to simplify the .dxf file before you try to import it into EASE. One thousand faces is more than you need or want for just about any EASE model. |

| This bug has been fixed in the latest version of EASE (4.3.9). To fix previously imported DXF files, export them to DXF from EASE 4.3.9 and then do the Import DXF again. This will clean up all the duplicated vertices. Alternatively you could just reimport the file using EASE 4.3.9. It depends on how many other changes you have made which way will be quicker. |

| I need to import file from Sketchup. The drawing has 500 faces. I have the problem of "same vertices inserted". Please help. Ease version 4.3.9.75 |

| Hi hasia
To delete those vertices you will have to delete them manually:
1) Check data
2) The "same vertices inserted" error appears
3) The Edit Face window appear for that face with repeated vertices
4) Look for those repeated vertices and delete them until one of them is left
5) Click Ok
6) Check data again
If there is another face with the same problem, repeat steps 1 - 6 |
