| I am trying to add skylights to a flat roof and extrude them upward to create a cavity. My problem is with the flat roof. It is 4 vertex points (4 corners). How do I coat the skylights to the roof, they is no "hole into the roof. Do I have to generate multiple faces on the roof so I can create a hole for the skylights?
Any suggestions? |

| Straight away I would say, yes, you need to build several faces to implement your design. However, to be sure, please send me your project packed by EASE (EASE Main Window -> File -> Pack Project) to support@afmg.eu. In addition, a small drawing or similar (rudimentary) of your project or a description of which area, size or similar would be very helpful to be able to have a closer look at your project and give you an individual answer.

| Thanks for replying. I did create multiple ceiling areas to carve out the skylights. Was easier than I thought. Thanks for your offer.
