| On the Reverberation Time calculation, the default calculation is in Eyring formula. Are there any setting options to change the calculation using Sabine? |

| Hi Irvin,
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to provide it.
May I ask why you would like to use the Sabine reverberation time? It would help us a lot to better understand the working methods of our customers. Eyring offers the more accurate calculation of reverberation time in any case.
Best Regards |

| Hi Frank,
Thank you for your feedback.
With our previous version (EASE 4.4.74.46), we use Sabine calculation for Reverberation Time as our working method output.

| Where I am located in the US, many of the standards and criteria list a SABINE requirement for various room types. I know this is a very simple value to calculate myself, but I know it was available in EASE 4.4.
I understand Eyring to be a better prediction of reverb time than sabine in almost every instance, but it is the local requirements where clients list SABINE criteria that would make the Sabine toggle beneficial. |

| Many standards and building certification methods (e.g. ANSI S12.60, LEED v4, LEED v4.1) require the prediction of reverberation time using the Sabine method. It would be nice to be able to compare the EASE output to that of a spreadsheet-based Sabine calculation. Of course modeling a typical rectangular prism school classroom in EASE is generally not necessary, but there are times when comparing an EASE model to a spreadsheet-based prediction is useful. |
