| Can anyone provide more info on the new "Level Definitions" on the settings tab of the room data window?
I'm seeing some quite strange results with a Community R.5HP - using the new default method, flat max comes out at 110dB as opposed to 117 using the old method. However, the new method is giving me broadband results 10-12dB hotter in the standard mapping window.
I'd like to find out exactly what the software is doing in these calculations and also get a feel for which method is appropriate for various scenarios.

See my post: "Why can't I turn my speaker all the way up?" |

| Jim,
Many thanks, that's just what I needed. I promise I had searched for the answer previously, it's just that the search terms didn't match!
Thanks again,
Steve. |
