We have convolved some of the *.bir that we created but we are not satisfied with the results – they sound sort of static-y at the end of phrases or almost like clipping in some of them. The sources that we were using for the project in question were human talkers (using the ‘Man Norm’ speaker) in close proximity and the listener is maybe 20ft (?) away (an office setting). We had the talkers turned to ‘All to Max’ so I thought that maybe it was a matter of clipping. But I got the same results when I tried it with all of the talkers turned down 3dB. Does anyone have any suggestions about what might be the cause of the poor quality of the results?

I would like to help you, but I'm afraid I would need more information. Is it possible for you to send me the project files via e-mail? If you can, please send me information regarding the version and modules of EASE you are using.

Or maybe you could record you computer screen and send me so I can see how you are proceeding and what's exactly the issue.
