I assume you mean a pipe organ. If that is the case, that is often quite a large area with hundreds of sources unless it is a tracker. What is it that you are trying to do?

I will make a suggestion ,will be to put one loudspeker facing the audience from the wall with another facing the top on each side ,the two enclosures close together . I will siggest to use a narrow dispersion like 50 x 50 wich will cover a reasonnable spray on horizontal and vertical . We did yet on for a church in Toronto Cathedral and the result was very ,very ,nice in reality .We add some smaller enclosures for make the hi frequencies pipes like in a horizontal array with two kind of similar enclosures . That was a system that we had customised to replace Roger sound enclosures. You see one of the magor problem was to design a replacement organ pipe is you need some very clean loudspeakers where the color of the sound is not altered by a marketing bla bla .

huh i reacted and now my reaction is gone Shocked

ok, I'm trying to play around with the location of a pipe-church-organ. much easier behind a screen than dragging the thing around Rolling Eyes

I've spoken to an organ-builder. he sais the majority of the thing is direction-less sound (so coming out in all directions). only the front pipes have a front-direction.

@bruno - do you mean a speaker-box with 50-degree angle of direction?

yes, you need a more directionnal patter, the pipe produce two kinds of patterns , one from the top wich is omni,like a planar wave ,it is like a rock that you pitch in a middle of a lake , and the vent wich is very ,very directionnal giving the direction of the sound pushing toward the opposite way . Think about it , if you make a simple geometric pattern in relation with the distance as the width and the dept of the Church you will see a narrow covering answer so why use a wide pattern . with a 100 degree your shoot will hardly going over 20 meters or 60 feet , a 50 degree will go at 90 feet or 28meters .
