| Hello, I am having an error when trying to import a DXF file, I followed the instructions on the EASE tutorial but I get the error:
"Import has failed: xx name of file xx
Convert EGD2 Block to EASE CAD. Subscript out of range Wrong Temp data."
Any advise to fix this is appreciated, this is the first time I try this feature.
thanks,

| Alfredo,
I am not familiar with this error.
If you can, have a look at the DXF drawing in AutoCAD or similar software and make sure you're only trying to import elements that EASE can recognize. These are indicated in the EASE manual.
I've found blocks and 3D shapes can cause errors.
Another thing to try, is confirm the DXF file is in AutoCAD2000 (or earlier) format.
Hoping someone else will jump in and give you an answer to the error.
You could send the DXF over if you'd like me to look at it. |

| Thanks Tim and Pedro, changing the DXF file to auto cad 2000 enabled me to import it into EASE. |
