| I have Systune on an HP ZBook with Win 7. I am using a M-Audio Mobile Pre USB. The interface was fine on my rig with a Dell laptop previously.
After changing to the new laptop, I have had huge amounts of latency or delay on IR's. Systune seems to show at least 70 mS all the time as a minimum even when the mic. is on top of the speaker. If you subtract the excessive delay, it seems to work fine otherwise. E.G. if you move the mic. a couple of feet you get a couple of feet of additional delay added to the IR. The magnitude graphs seem to correlate properly, just all that delay in there.
Any ideas. I'm sure it is something I'm doing. |

| Are you using ASIO drivers? |

| Alfredo,
Yes. This is an ASIO driver.
I think I have solved the problem. It looks like Windows was using the interface as it's default. When I reset the Windows default to the internal sound card and configure the Systune program to use ASIO M-Audio...it gets back to near zero latency.
I will do some more testing to determine whether this is going to resolve the problem. |
