| Hi,
Is it possible to edit the file .els with saved spectrum?
If so, how?
I would like to edit or to do spectrum with the noise eg. NC-30 or any.
Thus prepared, I will use the file as a noise file to correct the STI.
Does anyone know the solution?
Thanks in advance.

| Hello Bartek,
It is not possible to edit the .ELS file. However, there is an easier way. On the STI Properties page you can directly enter the Octave Band values in the text boxes for the Spectrum and/or the noise. |

| Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your reply. I know I can do it as written. The method is good for several samples, but with more example eg. 100 is very time-consuming. Mostly during STI measurements background noise is low. In fact, it is much higher. For convenience, in many cases, to measure background noise I use the handy octave (1/3 octave) analyzer or get a background sound from third parties. In such cases, I would like to quickly correct the measured STI for 100 points.
How to do this quickly?
Thanks in advance. |

| Hi Bartek,
There are two places to set this. If you do it in Options [F9] before loading the files, it is remembered for every file. If you use Properties [F4], then it only changes it for the current file. |
