Transfer Function without direct input |

| Is it possible to acquire the transfer function of a system that you have no way of directly inputting a signal into? Like many OEM Automotive systems for example, don't have any kind of input, just the ability to play a CD or read files from a USB drive. |

| Hi,
There are a number of test CD´s with pink noise or the like you can use as stimuli signal. But you will only be able to look at the spectrum, not the transfer function.
I mean, the magnitude relationships per frequency bin you will be able to see, but not the phase.
