| I'm making way through the tutorial but am also in need of doing some
real-world work. So i did a model in sketchup with the hope of identifying
some issues in the room by importing it into EASE.
Exported to version 8 of SKP. But none of my dimensions or room data seems to be available. If I try to manually enter the room volume in CU/Ft I can't enter in any of the other parameters.
Finally, I've not gotten far enough to invert the faces.
Here is a link to the SKP file that I'm working with.
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

| Hello,
you should be carefull in the skp drawing. Delete all edges and faces which do not belong tho the EASE room. First of all create the outer shell of the room.
This can be imported to EASE as first step. Invert faces, if necessary. The room volume can be checked, if the "Check Data" is OK.
Next construct all furniture in Skectchup and put the entities on two-fold layers (like "Mat1 $ Mat2"). Switch the room shell of and import the furniture in EASE. This furniture project can be added to the room shell project by "Combine Project".
If you send an email to support@afmg.eu, we can send you your edited project. |

| Hi Oriol,
if you are in the [Edit Project ..] window, open the File menu, click on "Combine Projects".
This will add another project as an object. |
