| Hi everyone,
i was wondering if EASE support network mapping calculations so we can use multiple servers or a group of computers to perform calculations to speed up ray tracing AURA calculations and mapping?
also, does EASE support or going to support CUDA or OpenCL for image rendering. also, is it going to have the ability to use graphic cards processors for AURA calculations as new generation graphic cards have strong processors.
Thanks!

| Hi Hamza,
At the moment EASE is not yet capable of using other machines in a network to perform AURA calculations. It maybe be possible in the future.
Using GPUs to increase processing power is indeed quite interesting. Nonetheless, our approach is different. We use the CPU standard instead as this is readily available and can easily be scaled upwards, possibly on demand. CPU usage does not require a dedicated computer and it does not require specialized programming.
Thanks for getting in touch.
Best Regards,
