| I'm working on a room model that has a mid-band T60 of 2,10 seconds.
I've added 11 listener seats in the room at different, key locations. I've tried to use local ray tracing to see how the T60 varies at those unique locations. However, in the .rsp file I'm getting the same exact T60, regardless of location.
This doesn't seem right, because at least a few of the listener seats are located in areas with much lower ceiling height.
Is it possible to get T60 values for each probe position without using Aura? If so, how is it done? I'm running the full version of EASE 4.4.67.26
TIA,
Mike Fay |

| Hi Mike,
Did you check that you are viewing the Schroeder Reverberation Time in Probe?

| Thank you Agustin. No, I did not have the Schroeder Time checked. Even with it checked, I'm not making any progress.
Among other things, I keep getting a strange T60 anomaly at 500 Hz and 1 kHz, at my selected seat. This seat is in a wide open area, with no obstructions.
I would include a screenshot of the anomaly, but I can't figure out how to copy and paste it into the forum - like you did above.

| Well, several things may be happening:
1. In addition to checking the Schroeder reverberation time, you have to then go to the "Schroeder" tab and calculate.
2. In addition to all of this, I assume that you are not adding a statistical tail to your ray tracing. This is done in "Edit> Add random tail".
I highly recommend that you find out how to configure these steps correctly by looking at the pdf tutorial that comes with EASE.
I use https://imgbb.com/ to upload the images and then upload them here using "[img]imagelink[/ img]" |
