| Hi gang, from Vancouver Canada,
I get an "Area Not Convex" pop-up error when I Check Data.
I cant find any reference to this error.
When it happens and I hit OK on the error dialog it "highlights the audience area A20" this leads me to believe there's something wrong with that area?
I've attached a screen shot of what it looks like when I hit ok on the error popup.
This is hindering my ability to use Mapping, any help for a newbie will be appreciated.

| Well then ...
Geez, I tried a bunch of things once I noticed in the Audience area table that several of the areas had a red traffic light ...
Somehow I came up with another error that said the selected area was not a "quadrangle", of course it wasn't, it was a "pie shaped triangle" (Funny that it "let" me draw them as Audience areas but wouldn't honor them.
Anyhow, I redrew them and ever so slightly cut off the tip of the triangle to make it a "quadrangle". Solved it.
I was able to continue.
Sorry for the self answered question !
Took me about 5 hours to figure it out though. Good thing that I didn't give up!
No matter how hard I searched, I couldn't find a reference to that error message anywhere though... just sayin' Hee Hee.
Cheers, thanks for all the hard work on this program over the years! |
