| Hello all,
I posted this on another question to make sure is seen
What about when you use Aura and raytracing? Is the sound transmission (and blockage) between walls considered while doing this kind of analysis?
What I need to know is, if I put a sound source in a closed room and a probe on the adjacent room, what will be the result shown? Will it be representative of what is going to happen in real life, will just show 0 transmission from one room to the other, or will something else happen?
I want to know what would happen to adjust my simulation methods accordingly.
Thanks!

| Dear Luis,
So far sound transmission is not implemented in EASE, but is in our roadmap for mid-long term. So yes, the probe will show 0 in the adjacent room, if at least one of the rooms is encapsulated (closed) and no rays can propagate.
Best regards,

| Thanks! That will be an awesome addition. Still, just knowing how it behaves helps me a lot. |
