| EASE Focus is a generic aiming software for line arrays and loudspeaker clusters that can be downloaded for free from www.easefocus.com.
Several manufacturers have already registered their data for EASE Focus in order to provide their customers with an easy-to-use, sophisticated and reliable prediction tool.
EASE focus can be used to optimize the coverage of a line array system, determine its position, the splay angles as well as the weight. The center of gravity is automatically calculated and pinpoints can be accordingly chosen.
Further, utilizing the acoustic calculation engine of EASE the software allows for fully colored SPL mappings with various options, such as A-weighting or 3 octaves bandwidth.
After the system design is complete a full report can be generated, as well as pictures and drawings of the setup. Projects can be saved and loaded at any later point of time. Users can easily switch between the different systems in the database.
The software may prove to be useful for all manufacturers looking for a standardized platform rather than for a customized and costly solution. |
