| I'm getting the following error when running Ease Rays - Ray Tracing Impacts:
EASETrace_DLL
ERROR in PutRay
Bad record number
If I hit OK, the tracing continues. But, I've done this a couple of times for the same model, loudspeakers, etc. and I get different results - time, # of impacts for various orders, and overall impacts. So, I don't know if I'm losing data or why the results are different.
What does this error mean and how does it affect the results?

| Hi,
like always, it would be most useful to get the EASE project, the sequence of steps and the parameters used. Otherwise it will be hard for us to reproduce that problem.
Generally we have seen this error once a while when people used raytracing with many rays and created a trace file at the same time. This file can get big very fast and may reach the limit of 2GB. So please make sure you either run a ray tracing with many rays or you write some rays into a file. There should be no need for storing some 100'00s rays.
