| Has anyone experienced compatibility issues with the new Intel® 945GM onboard firewire chipset and the presonus firebox. My company recently replaced my laptop with a dell inspiron core duo and now a have sync issues when using Easera.
The two main problems I'm experiencing are. Far greater latency than previous setup as much as 30ms (impulse response). Also each measurement taken will randomly move by 3 or 4ms even when the distance between mic and speaker haven't changed.
Thanks in advance |

| Hello Dan,
we found that the problem is likely not the motherboard itself,
but it may be the on-board 1394 OHCI controller.
For instance the chip from O2Micro, Inc (VID=1217) does not work fine.
Other chips from TI, NEC or Agere work better. |
