| Designing with Two Monitors |

| When I’m in the office I use Ease with two monitors in an extended desktop setup. When I’m out of the office and only using the single monitor on my laptop and open Ease the main module it positions itself on the second desktop that obviously doesn’t exist. I can bring the module “back” to my monitor by right clicking in the taskbar and “maximizing” the window. The same thing occurs when I open the Edit module, I have to maximize it move it back to the main screen. The problem is when I open dialog boxes as in “edit->faces”; the box tries to open on the “non-existent” monitor and I have no way to move this back or access it is not a separate module in the task bar. The only way to get out of this is to use the task manager to close the ease modules and then go back to two monitors if I want to edit in this window.
How do I reset the “position” of the ease modules?
I’m currently using Windows Vista but always had the same problem with my XP machine. I have, so far, not had any issues with the migration to Vista.

A quick work-around is to press Alt-Spacebar to bring up the window Control menu, then select the Move item. Now use the Arrow keys and the mouse to bring the window back on to the visible monitor . |
